Combine fruit, sugar and brandy and let sit at room temperature until sugar dissolves, about 15 minutes.
Add cider, cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
I've written this recipe as a single serving to make it easier to multiply for a pitcher or punch quantity. Ever noticed how cider comes in a wide variety of container sizes? As a guide, if you wanted 12 servings you would want about one cup of each fruit...but it's not a fussy recipe which is why sangria is awesome!
