I’ve teamed up with a group of awesome food bloggers to bring you the Thrive at Five Meal Plan. We want to help you get homemade dinners on the table, so each Friday we’ll be doing a roundup of recipes to help you plan your week day dinners…and some extras too!
Thrive at Five Meal Plan-Week 21 is so colorful! We eat with the eyes, right? I’m loving Carrie’s Lemon Butter Salmon which is perfectly flaky and Vanessa’s Tostones Rellanos- oh my! Goreous! Scroll down to get all the recipes!
What’s happening at Vintage Kitty HQ? It’s our two year birthday! To celebrate we’re having Snickerdoodle Cupcakes and GIVEAWAY! I’ve put together a collection of some my favorite baking essentials worth over $150. So make sure to enter.
On the homefront, there’s been recipe testing (pineapple orange smoothie) and a deep spring clean for the kitchen is underway. Next I’ll be testing some Easter recipes.
Our poor Luna girl is sick again. It’s been a dicey week here. She went to the vet for a UTI and came home with a diagnosis of kennel cough too. The vet gave her a long lasting antibiotic shot which knocked her out for about 24 hours. She couldn’t stay awake, stand or walk normally and was having accidents too. She gave us a good scare but seems to be back to her normal old lady self now.
I have to decide whether I should get her vaccinated once she’s better, or have her avoid the dogs in the park. It’s so hard to know what’s the right thing to do. The end of Luna’s life should be full of joy and the least amount of pain and sickness possible. It’s a big worry, especially as I will be traveling a lot next month…
Speaking of travel I’m really looking forward to attending the Everything Food Conference. It’s in Salt Lake City and I’ve never been plus I will be learning how to step up my game as a food blogger. Then I head to Las Vegas to see my sister! It’s going to be an exciting time!
Do you have any fun travel plans? We love to live vicariously through our readers, so leave a comment below.
If you have a moment please share this Thrive at Five Meal Plan-Week 21 post with your friends and family. I’m sure they would love some recipe inspiration!
