I’ve teamed up with a group of awesome food bloggers to bring you the Thrive at Five Meal Plan- Week 8. We want to help you get homemade dinners on the table, so each Friday we’ll be doing a roundup of recipes to help you plan your weekly dinners…and maybe a few snacks too!
For the Thrive at Five Meal Plan- Week 8 we’ve included a mix of healthy and indulgent recipes. Its January and I’m sure some of you have made weight loss resolutions. It’s good to think about balance so any health gains can be sustainable in the long term. For instance, make a large salad to accompany Erin’s delicious Roasted Cauliflower Mac ‘n Cheese. Extra salad or veggies is always helpful for portion control of rich foods.
On the other hand, we’ve got some lean chicken recipes like chicken tandoori and crock pot chicken noodle soup.
What’s happening at Vintage Kitty HQ? We are still recovering from that stomach bug. Still no appetite so I’m sorry that there haven’t been any new recipes yet. But I hope to post a cupcake recipe I created for the holidays soon.
So since food was a no go for New Years Eve we went to see The Passengers. It was a nice love story (if not the most plausible plot).
Earlier this week we worked a couple days but now we are off on an adventure to Charleston, South Carolina. I’ve never been there and it’s my birthday weekend, so it should be a fun experience. Hoping my appetite returns because its restaurant week, so really want to take advantage of the specials (and of course the recipe inspiration!).
