I’ve teamed up with a group of awesome food bloggers to bring you the Thrive at Five Meal Plan. We want to help you get homemade dinners on the table, so each Friday we’ll be doing a roundup of recipes to help you plan your week day dinners…and some extras too!
Thrive at Five Meal Plan-Week 19 is here! Very tasty looking menu this week with lots of variety from fish to chicken to beef. The meat I’m most grooving on is Erin’s homemade breakfast sausage. Y’all know how I love making everything from scratch!
Also loving Chellie’s Quinoa burrito bowls because I’m always looking for ways to add protein to my diet while not missing the carbs. What will be your favorite dish this week? Scroll down to see all the recipes!
What’s happening at Vintage Kitty HQ? Because we launched the first post in our awesome
#diydatenight series, it’s been really busy here. I’ve been shouting #diydatenight to the rooftops via social media and the post has been well received (lots of relieved yeas!) Everyone is digging Megan’s awesome illustration, the fun picnic under the stars theme and the star inspired recipes.
One down, lot’s more marital and dating bliss to come! So now we are working on the next installment. In the meantime you should really follow Megan directly via her Tumblr or Instagram so you can see more of her artwork (cute puppies and couples to make you :-). She also does custom portraits so if you’re looking for a unique gift idea check out her Etsy store.
On the garden front, I’m happy to announce that I have one little eggplant sprout. When I planted my seedlings earlier this month, I thought spring had arrived early. But I think the return of winter weather has slowed their progress since they are in an outdoor room. I also failed to keep them watered enough, so lesson learned, seeds need TLC too!
Are you planning a summer vegetable garden? Tell us about it below. You can also find us on Facebook @vintagekittycom, Twitter @theVintageKitty and Instagram @vintagekittyblog. We love to hear from you!
If you have a moment please share this Thrive at Five Meal Plan-Week 19 post with your friends and family. I’m sure they would love some recipe inspiration!
